Zachary's Mission Fall 2012 Gala

Patricia & Rob Vince

Zachary’s Mission helps support families of critically ill children to bring them comfort and hope during difficult times. The Fall Gala and its 115 guests contributed to this cause through an event filled with Latin dance and music. Held at Longue Vue Club in Verona, guests did the Cha-Cha with Americas Latin Orchestra and braved the dance floor for Latin dance instruction. Patricia Vince, executive director of Zachary’s Mission, says, “The historic club made for a beautiful backdrop for the evening, and the fantastic energy was sparked by the band and emcee Kelly Frey from WTAE.” Erin Colvin, clinical director of The Children’s Home and Lemieux Family Center, was the guest speaker, and local artist Mark Bender’s stunning original painting received the highest bid in the gala’s silent auction. Vince adds, “The gala is our major fundraiser for the year. It’s an exciting way for us to connect to the community and corporate sponsors while promoting awareness for our programming.”

This event is featured in the January 2013 issue of WHIRL Magazine.
