What happens in Vegas, stays there — or in this case, it stays at LeMont! The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Vegas on the Mon treated more than 400 guests to a Monte Carlo-esque evening. From the Vegas-style entertainment and classic casino games to the fabulous buffets and exclusive shopping, the event had something for everyone. The highlight was the Pittsburgh Hold’em Tournament, which pinned major sponsors against each other, with the winner receiving a Leukemia & Lymphoma Society research grant named in their company’s honor. Aside from the hours of fun LeMont provided, the focus of the event was to support the mission to cure blood cancers, successfully raising $233,000. “We truly appreciate the support of our co-chairs, our committee, and our honorees,” says Richele Ward, senior campaign director at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. “It was a wonderful evening enjoyed by all.”
