Although they initially met in grade school, Colleen Kiss and Zachary Krejdovsky waited nearly a decade before they began dating. “We both switched schools and went different ways — until about 10 year later!” says Colleen. “We reconnected at the end of my junior year of high school … and at the end of his freshman year at Saint Vincent College.” Fast-forward another eight years and Zack was ready to pop the question. Before a beautiful dinner at LeMont, Zack suggested they snap a quick photo together on the iconic Mt. Washington lookout. As Colleen was looking out over picturesque Downtown, Zack proposed. The couple decided to tie the knot during the holiday season, opting for a vintage holiday feel with crisp whites and pops of warm cranberry decorating the Pittsburgh Golf Club reception. Although they treasure every memory from their special day, the couple agrees that the most emotional moment for them was the recitation of their vows to one another. “Even now, our vows have been words that have resonated with us as we have embraced ‘married life’ and all of the challenges that come with it — good and bad!”

Not even the chilly Pittsburgh weather could cool the couple’s warm smiles.

Colleen’s favorite memory of her wedding was being announced man and wife, and walking arm-in-arm with her new husband down the aisle of Saint Peter Parish.

Staying warm and stylish, Colleen’s bridesmaids wore burgundy shawls that matched their bouquets.

The snowy white scene outside the windows, the soft candlelight, and the touches of gold and cranberry combined for an intimate and festive atmosphere.
