When college sweethearts Taylor Zonts and Gannon Flowers tied the knot, they wanted a day filled with tradition and elegance. They incorporated the trifecta of colors to create the ultimate ambiance of classic romance: light pinks, purples, and neutrals. Taylor’s seven bridesmaids were dressed in dark purple gowns featuring different necklines, which allowed the bride’s Maggie Sotterro dress to really pop. The stunning gown featured a beaded and lace bodice, which complemented her cathedral-length, lace-trimmed veil. On the inside of Taylor’s full, tulle skirt, she had sewn in a heart cut out of one of her grandfather’s shirts, who was unable to make it to the wedding because he was suffering from Alzheimer’s. She did this so she could “have a piece of him here with me,” she says. Being so close with her family, Taylor was also surprised with handkerchiefs that her mom and dad had embroidered with letters from each of them. Happy tears were definitely shed at the joyous celebration, held at The Pennsylvanian. “My dad is a pastor and does dozens of weddings each year and kept reminding us to enjoy each moment and take advantage of the full song when we had finished,” says Taylor. The newlyweds took advantage of an adventurous honeymoon, too, traveling to Lake Tahoe, Napa Valley, and San Francisco!

“We listened to ‘Love Never Fails’ by Brandon Heath, which reminded us how God brought us together and was intertwined throughout that day.”

“We chose not to have [our dog], Digsby, in our actual wedding, but we both wanted him to be there for pictures and while we got ready,” Taylor says.

The couple decorated the tables at The Pennsylvanian with romantic centerpieces.
