In his final game as a shooting guard for the LA Lakers on April 13, 2016, at 37 years old, Kobe Bryant became the oldest player to score 60 in a single game and set the highest point total in the 2015-16 regular season. It is a statistic that makes jaws drop in a tremendously jaw-dropping athletic career. But as is the case with all high-achieving athletes, there are reasons for those results.
