Swept Away: Kristina Dearfield and Joshua Stein

——— A little wind and a bit of photographer’s magic created this stunning image of Kristina Dearfield and Joshua Stein, standing outside of Duquesne University’s Chapel of the Holy Spirit. Kristina and Josh first met by chance while Kristina and her parents went out to dinner, but fate was making doubly sure the two ended up together. Josh’s brother soon after insisted he had just met the perfect woman for Josh, but Josh turned him down having already met Kristina. In the end, Josh’s brother was right though — both women were Kristina! Josh’s brother was actually training his future sister-in-law at their work! For an early winter wedding, the bride topped her dress with a white fur shawl and held an all-white bouquet of white roses, hydrangeas, peonies, and gardenias. The magic though was in the veil, a Priscilla of Boston piece passed down from the bride’s mother. Accents of lace created a vision reminiscent of falling snow as wind truly swept the two off their feet.
