The best accessory for any yogi is a pretty and practical tote that holds all of the essentials needed to add to any kind of practice. From equipment to clothing, and even recovery snacks, there are plenty of items we’re tossing in there. And the best part? All of these stores and companies will be a part of the Vendor Village at the One WHIRL Yoga Fest + Healthy Lifestyle Expo on July 22!
Yoga instructor Annie Federoff served as a member of WHIRL Magazine’s 13 Under 30 class of 2016 and is still making a positive impact on the City of Pittsburgh! Always having an interest in health and fitness, the Pittsburgh native set out on a wellness journey. In 2010, she created a personal training company to help women through boot camp-style classes. “I absolutely loved the high-intensity workouts and the results that they were providing, but I seemed to be missing a few other benefits,” says Federoff. Shortly after she discovered the mental and physical benefits of yoga, Federoff completed her Level 1 training with Baron Baptiste. In 2014, Federoff opened her studio: Pure Power Yoga in Robinson Township. This year, she also started working as a financial representative with Luttner Financial Group in Pittsburgh. They’re developing a program called “Mind, Money, and Muscles” to help individuals achieve total life balance.
