The historic Pittsburgh’s Grand Hall at the Priory Hotel honored its latest expansion — a new 17-room wing — by hosting a Grand Opening Gala. Guests were able to take a look at the landmark’s expansion, and were very enthusiastic with the results, says John Graf, Director of Operations. The event featured entertainment by Chris Rczkowski, the Schweizer Mannerchor Helvetia Singers of Allegheny City, and Etta Cox. More than 500 guests were on hand for the ceremonial ribbon cutting, and sipped cocktails and noshed on light bites prepared by Priory chefs Mike Henney and Pete Phillipy. “I was really gratified by the level of interest showed in the project,” Graf says. “It showed people are interested in what is going on in the North Side.”
