Introduced through mutual friends, Caitlyn Pryde and Christopher Morgan dated for three and a half years before the big proposal. He decorated their home to fit an “around the world” theme, complete with passports, souvenirs, and fun facts about each represented country. “The last stop was Sri Lanka, which he told me is renown for its sapphires,” says Caitlyn. “Next thing I know, he is down on his knee with a beautiful pink sapphire engagement ring, asking me to be his wife.” Keeping things nontraditional, Caitlyn and Christopher created a fun, relaxed atmosphere with an intimate celebration at PointBreezeway. Caitlyn made her way down the tented aisle, showing off her bouquet of white anemones, blush peonies, lavender, hypericum berry, and succulents. (Florists Julie Start and Bethany Kleppick were Caitlyn’s sorority sisters!) Guests enjoyed dinner from L.A. Taco food truck and corn hole games on customized boards. “It was important to us to use local and/or handmade vendors. Explore all of your options and try out new vendors who may be starting out,” Caitlyn says. “Everyone we worked with went above and beyond to make our day exactly how we wanted it.”

Caitlyn’s favorite memory of the day was her first-look with Christopher. “We got to pause, take a breath, and really focus on the significance of the day and everything we had experienced together that had brought us to that point."
