Still not sure how you’re celebrating Valentine’s Day this year? No worries! Here are some of the unique date and gift ideas that we fell in love with, which can be enjoyed this weekend or on the actual holiday this coming Tuesday.
Note: these definitely work for Gal-entine’s Day festivities, too!

Revel + Roost

Celebrating all weekend, the dual-level restaurant is hosting a special three-course prix fixe menu for $55 upstairs at Roost. Downstairs at Revel, take in #MovieMonday on February 13 for a screening of “The Spy Who Loved Me,” with other classic love films to follow on February 14. There will also be a photo booth with themed props to capture every loving moment!

Cioppino Restaurant & Cigar Bar

Share a warm conversation over a three-course Chef’s Tasting Menu, available at Cioppino Restaurant & Cigar Bar. Or take the more intimate route with the Chef’s Dinner For Two, featuring a 28 oz porterhouse, a 10 oz lobster tail, a choice of two sides, and Chocolate Fondue For Two. The dessert is served in a chocolate bread bowl along with dipping offerings of house-smoked bacon, raspberry swirled pound cake, Nutella cheesecake, peanut butter truffles, and fresh strawberries. (Yum!) Both dinner options are available February 10-14. Ask about adding rosé to the table, too, selected by the in-house sommelier!

Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh

Putting a “personal spin” on Cupid’s Day this year, Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh is offering a package with a fun in-hotel experience and locally made goods. The Steel Their Heart Package includes hotel accommodations, a growler of Arsenal Cider House’s hard cider, A519 Chocolates, a floral arrangement from Allison McGeary Florist, and rose-infused bath salts from Una Biologicals. When booking before February 12, use rate code STEEL to save $130 over the best available rate!

Nothing says romance more than a handwritten love letter. Through February 17, drop by the hotel’s pop-up Love Letter Writing Studio, complete with stationery and envelopes, and break out the fancy penmanship to let your sweetheart know you care. Not sure where to start? Consult some of the great love experts from the past with historical romance poems and letters for inspo!

Fine Wine & Good Spirits

Maybe date night in is more your thing. Fine Wine & Good Spirits has everything you need to pair to make festive cocktails to pair your homemade dinner and dessert or sip solo. Set the holiday’s go-to, Champagne, on ice, and serve up wine instead. Red blends, Grenache, and Port are a perfect match for chocolate. We recommend Bodegas Aragonesas Garnacha Campo de Borja, Havens Back & Blue Red Napa Valley, or Taylor Fladgate Late Bottled Vintage Porto. Become an experienced bartender in your own kitchen with some of these recipes for The Chandon Kiss, Blushing Bourbon, Kissed Caramel Martini, and more here.

P.S. February 22 is National Margarita Day. Check out some of our favorite recipes here. You’re welcome.

The Waterfront Shopping Center in Homestead

Almost 25 different restaurant and entertainment spots make The Waterfront Shopping Center in Homestead the perfect destination for all ages. From movies to comedy shows to dinner, there’s something for everyone to enjoy with their love bug. Paint Monkey, Fudge Farm, Rocket Fizz, and Crunch Fitness are offering specials and packages for Valentine’s Day, too, and they also double as great gifts!
