Four years into dating, certified public accountants Jessica Pecyna and Daniel Murtha hopped on a flight to Paris, France, for a lovely Labor Day weekend getaway. The couple, who met while working in Pittsburgh, wasted no time catching a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower. During a picture-perfect moment on the famous Pont Alexandre III bridge, Dan handed his phone to a tourist, who counted to three — before Jessica knew it, he dropped to his knee! They returned to Pittsburgh to say “I do” at Saint Paul Cathedral, where they attend Mass every week. Looking for something fresh and unique, Jessica and Daniel chose Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh for their reception. “We fell in love with the hotel before it even opened,” says Jessica. “The original structure with a new face in the ballroom really wowed us.” The day’s décor was equally impressive, incorporating elements of black, white, gold, and silver. “Mocha Rose and Soiree by Souleret were able to translate my Pinterest board dreams into a reality.”
