Merante Brothers Market recently launched its newest addition to the family, Bar Antonio, a sleek, European-style bar with specialty cocktails, craft beer, Mediterranean tapas, and live music. Connected to Merante’s market establishment, the exciting expansion offers an extensive menu from the kitchen of executive chef and owner Domenica Merante. Some items include free-range wings with a spicy Ghost Pepper chili sauce or a housemade caramelized onion, sun-dried tomato, and blue cheese sauce; a formaggio plate of gorgonzola cheese pâté, garnished with fruit compote and glazed walnuts, served with cheese crostini; the Traditional Antipasti Piatto, comprised of Prosciutto di Parma, soppressata, olives, roasted red peppers, and artichokes, served with housemade crostini; a homemade cannoli trio; and Uncle Sal’s Sausage Bambini, consisting of three small hot or sweet sausage sliders, served with fresh mozzarella, peppers, onions, and sauce. Unwind in the contemporary space, highlighted in silver and blue, or in a more intimate space, surrounded by wood and candles at Cucina Di Domenica. Outdoor seating under a pergola is available, and features a fireplace to keep cozy.
