More than 175 people mingled at Lexus of North Hills for the fifth annual Diamond Gala, where $37,500 was netted for Cribs for Kids Infant Safe Sleep Initiative. “We had such a pleasure working with Kevin Mullen and the staff at Lexus, and we’re grateful for all their hard work and generosity,” says Heather Glaser, Cribs for Kids director of PR & Development. Guests sipped bubbly and entered a silent auction, which included $6,000 worth of diamonds, sponsored by Brooks Diamonds. The evening of indulgence featured desserts, heavy hors d’oeuvres, music by Vida Lisa Malcanas, and dancing. It also paid homage to Pittsburgh Pirates President Frank Coonelly and his wife, Debbie. “We were thrilled to be honoring Frank and Debbie at this year’s event,” says Glaser. “Every $50 raised goes toward saving a baby’s life.”

This event is featured in the February 2013 issue of WHIRL Magazine.
