The love between Alexandra Krischke and Nick Pazzaglia could only be celebrated in an ultra romantic way — which is why they set LeMont Restaurant aglow with candles in almost every corner. While shopping for the perfect dress to fit the setting, Alexandra fell for a Morilee gown with sheer sleeves and a full, trumpet skirt. But when the staff at Mary’s Bridal learned candlelight would be a major component of the day, they encouraged the bride to add a Swarovski crystal-covered belt and veil to the ensemble. “They turned the lights down in the room like it would be during the ceremony and it gave me chills,” Alexandra says. “It was perfect.” The same could be said of the day overall, a formal, black tie-optional affair that turned out to be exactly what the couple had envisioned. “It was breathtaking to see everything we thought about and dreamed of finally come to life,” Alexandra says. “It was magical to see all of the details come together and sparkle. The excitement was overwhelming.”

“[Nick] loves cake and my dad’s favorite dessert is wedding cake, so we had to make sure it was phenomenal.” And it was — with traditional white batter, raspberry filling, and whipped buttercream.

White, cream, and ivory floral arrangements glittered with accents of champagne and gold, illuminated by the candles in glass globes hanging from manzanita tree centerpieces.

“I had hundreds of candles everywhere you looked,” Alexandra says. “It was my favorite part of the wedding décor!”
