Jeffrey Smith Salon has finally opened the doors of its Highland Park location! The new space, marked by soaring ceilings, a minimalistic white and gray color palette, and custom maple woodwork by Joe Kelly of Kelly Custom Furniture & Cabinetry, feels like a breath of fresh air. As the imaginative force behind it all, Jeffrey Smith also enlisted Kelly for the beautiful shadowboxes that display his stunning jewelry designs. And, local artist Terry Boyd added texture to the open, light, and refreshing spa-like atmosphere with striking artwork. We saw a spring in the step of the stylists, Smith included, and can sense the excitement they feel working in a new neighborhood and in a space designed from the floor up to suit the creative flow of their daily routine. Along with this next phase, Jeffrey Smith Salon has also debuted a new logo, signifying the salon’s evolution. “Highland Park is a changing neighborhood, just like Lawrenceville was when we opened there. Hair salons, art galleries, and restaurants provide an anchor for the community, and everyone benefits from bringing in people who will come walk around and explore,” says Smith of the big move. Above all, the warm and inviting space will allow for an enhanced experience for clients as they relax and enjoy the salon’s top-of-the-line hair, nail, and skin services. Constantly adding new, cutting-edge treatments, Jeffrey Smith Salon now offers Lavish eyelash extensions and takes the experience one step further with free valet service for patrons on Friday and Saturday. Salon Manager Sandy DiGregory reports a fantastic response from their new neighbors, as well as clients, who eagerly anticipated the opening. Upon our visit, we understand why! Congrats on the new digs — we can’t wait to see this new chapter unfold!
