The couple braved the negative wind chill temperatures to get pictures at the Carnegie Mellon Institute. “Our photographers brought bags of Hot Hands to help get us through, and the pictures were completely worth it,” says Joanie.

“Our wedding party were such troopers. In-between takes, there was lots of jumping to stay warm. The faux fur wraps really paid off for the girls— the boys were so jealous!”

The couple’s three-tiered cake featured almond butter cake with fudge filling and buttercream frosting, topped with rose-gold cascading flowers. “The cake was the talk of our wedding!”

“We would choose all our vendors over again, especially the Monaco. Kristen and her team made every wedding dream of ours come true.”
