When Courtnay Rowan and Vince Orlandini said “I do,” they did so with an elegant, rustic ceremony and reception at Destiny Hill Farms. The picture-perfect venue not only embodied the theme, but it also highlighted other components that made their day so special. “I cannot tell you how many people commented that our wedding was ‘so us’ because it was casual, laid-back, and fun,” says Courtnay. For instance, instead of a traditional wedding cake, guests enjoyed apple dumplings and pie à la mode. “There were horses out for everyone to see, and cornhole games going until they kicked us out,” Courtnay jokes. One of the couple’s favorite memories was sharing the evening with their children. “My stepsons were junior groomsmen, and our three-month-old daughter was there,” Courtnay says. “In fact, our baby girl wore my baptism dress to the wedding, which is going to be a great story when she gets married.” A harvest moon lit up the night sky, which was an ideal ending to a beautiful day shared with loved ones. “Everyone contributed to making our day as special as it was,” Courtnay says. “I truly would not have changed a thing.”

“Vince and I met through mutual friends while out one night,” says Courtnay. “He thought a cheesy joke would seal the deal, but it took a few more meetings to get to the first date!

Cowgirl boots and a bouquet of pink, peach, white, and cream roses completed Courtnay’s look.

“There are no rules in wedding planning, so throw out the traditional advice and make it your own,” Courtnay advises.

The couple enjoyed their first dance to Brad Paisley’s “Then.”
