Headquartered in Pittsburgh, Lendable Linens prides itself on dependable service, customer satisfaction, and a comprehensive selection of linens that can be customized for parties, events, and weddings. For General Manager Ed Amori, every season is wedding season. He and his polished team prep for prospective client meetings by creating a vision board to help simplify the picking process. “We are often told, ‘This was the easiest meeting we’ve ever had,’ because the choices were visual, down to the shapes of the tables,” says Amori, who recently did the rehearsal dinner and wedding of Nick Rossi and Marshall Bush, daughter of George H. W. Bush’s youngest son, Marvin, in Boca Grande, Fla., at the Gasparilla Inn. For 2016, beautiful neutrals, such as blush, champagne, and ivory, continue to trend strong, as well as all things texture, i.e., iridescent sequins and flurries of bugle beads. “People love that sporadic shimmer,” Amori says. “We have fabrics that are heavier and more intricate coming in from all over the world. They are stunning.” Amori suggests that couples add punchier fabrics to the cake and bridal tables, and use simpler materials on the guest tables, especially if they’re on a budget. For an added dash of flash, “We would mix a blush bark with a blush lace, and maybe a damask pattern in champagne and blush,” he says. “The combination is stunning.” Lendable looks to PANTONE for color trends, and projections from women’s fashion and home goods, too. “Mauve is making a huge comeback,” Amori says. “Though, it’s now considered a dusty rose.” Look for Lendable’s work on May 7 at the 18th Annual PNC Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy Spring Hat Luncheon.
