Sports addicts from around the city enjoyed an old-fashioned night of indulgence at the 93.7 The FAN Smoker event. More than 125 guests filled Cioppino in the Strip District for an evening of cigars, cocktails, appetizers, and desserts, all in celebration of the NFL 2012 season opener. Hosted by CBS radio personalities Josh Miller and Paul Alexander, fans bid on sports memorabilia and listened to live music while raising $15,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. CBS Radio Director of Sales, Michael Spacc, says the event’s crowd doubled from last year. “It was a great atmosphere of guys and gals just having a cigar and a few cocktails,” he says.
