Elegant and timeless, the 85th Annual Cinderella Ball welcomed 500 guests, including multiple generations and 22 debutantes, to the Omni William Penn Hotel Ballroom. The event is one of the oldest charity events in Pittsburgh, and is the second longest-running Debutante Ball in the United States. Prince Charming Chase Fisher pulled Stella Sotereanos’ name from the pumpkin, making her this year’s Cinderella. The Carnegie Library served was this year’s beneficiary, each girl volunteering at least 30 hours, and totaling 725. “It was a real honor — especially for the fathers, who escorted the debutantes through the whole length of the ballroom,” says Laura Kronk, co-chair of publicity.
